Late But Best Dressed

Now look, everyone needs a good white oxford shirt. Whatever you do, Get yourself one.
What is there not to love about an oxford shirt. Its crisp texture, its versatility, and its range of fit make it the perfect wardrobe staple for any season.

The simple but chic white oxford shirt can be worn both formally or casually. This oversized oxford shirt is one of my favorite oxford button-ups because the writing on it makes it a statement piece. The bold writing on the front pocket states “Sorry I’m late” and the writing on the back of the shirt states “Late But Best Dressed”. Honestly, the shirt says it all. It’s a conversation starter and explains my habitual tardiness.

Onto the jeans. I coupled the oversized button-up shirt with a pair of Zara high rise light wash jeans. As a taller woman with thicker thighs, high rise jeans seem to be perfect for accentuating my “curves” and complimenting my height. In addition, the straight-legged jean can be paired with a variety of footwear-sneakers, sandals, heels, or boots. Take your pick.

Lastly, I paired the jean with a pair of Zara black wide heeled stretch ankle boots. This shoe packs a subtle punch. When I first spotted the shoe, the squared toe is what attracted me to it but the patent finish drew me in. It is a must-have. Not to mention, the squared toe boot is trending this season and makes for are great fall andwinter wardrobe addition.
