If you haven’t invested in a set, then what are you waiting on? Here’s the tea, sets are my cheat code to building a dynamic and robust wardrobe. Normally, sets are advertised as suites however if you are looking to maximize your closet and get the most out of your buck you can wear the duo as a suite or style it separately with other garments in your wardrobe. Listen, learning how to style a single garment in multiple ways is another strategy for maximizing your wardrobe. Versatility is the name of the game here folks!

Mind, Body, and Spirit:
While we are on the subject of sets and pairing items together to build the ideal wardrobe, let’s segue into what I consider “wellness sets”; health practices that can be done separately but offer more balance when done together. One of my favorite “wellness sets” is practicing healthy skincare + eating habits.
Our skin is the largest organ on our bodies and caring for our outer shell goes beyond appearance. Our environment impacts our skin daily, however, establishing a healthy full-body skincare routine (not just for our beautiful faces) helps us develop healthy habits for the long term.
Next, our gut is our second brain and the foods we choose to consume have a direct impact on our health.
But to keep it all the way real, I shamelessly indulge in my favorite sweets and non-healthy foods. As a younger person, I feel as if time is on my side whenever I partake in unhealthy eats. But I have unfortunately witnessed the impacts of poor eating habits in close friends and family that have resulted in chronic illnesses and untimely passings. This has encouraged me to be more mindful about my nutritional practices because a healthy gut means a strong immune system, a healthy heart, and a healthy brain.
Since we are all unique, establishing healthy eating habits that meet our individual needs is so important to our overall well-being. Despite the “diet culture” that the media and society frequently try to force down our necks, always remember that health is wealth and to do what is best for your body.
The systems of our bodies work together to function as one. And combining these two practices into a wellness set is perfect because when you do the work on the inside the outside comes effortlessly.
