Hi ChamXpagne family!

I've missed you so much! I hope you are taking it easy and finding peace amid "whatever times'' we are living in. I refer to our current times as “whatever times” because ... Wth is going on? Have we named the historical time period we are living through? We aren’t just navigating an everlasting pandemy anymore. Food distribution centers are burning down, Roe v.s. Wade was overturned, climate change is apparently irreversible and they've convinced us that paper straws are the remedy, Rihanna is pregnant with As Soon As Possible's baby(I'm happy for my good sis nonetheless), and Elon Musk just bought my favorite social media app– only God knows what is next. So like I said, I hope you are finding peace in the midst of “whatever times'' we are living in.

In January, I decided to take a much-needed break from content creation to find my inner peace. I was burned out y'all. From ideating the content to producing the content, to styling, to creating email marketing campaigns, to managing multiple social media platforms, and creating time to learn new digital marketing strategies to improve my skills. And though, I normally feel like there isn't enough time in a day. My consistent attempts to fit 10 hours worth of work into 4 hours spread me way to thin.

Not to mention, having to balance my 9-5, freelance work, my well-being and my social life. It was all too much and quite frankly, I was doing TOO much. So I hit pause to rest, become more present, reassess my priorities and recast the vision for my brand.

When I first created this space, I intended to share my love for fashion and style and inspire others to find their personal style. But it has since evolved into something greater. For me, it became a safe haven for creative ideas and self expression. And for you, I can only hope it served as a reminder to find the sweet spot between self acceptance and becoming.

Whether it was finding new garments to spice up your wardrobe, or adding weekly self-care dates to your wellness regimen, or learning to accept and embrace your uniqueness, I hope this space has encouraged you to embrace the highs and lows of becoming your best self.

Though I still embrace its founding principles, I’ve decided to pivot my blog to forums that align more closely with my strengths and allow me to address the nuances and complexities of personal growth. While I was taking a "break", I started a new project that is set to be released in June and I look forward to sharing it with you soon. But let me be clear, the fashion content ain't going nowhere because the looks need to be given.

However, I want to be intentional about creating space for us to grow and kee-kee in community. So, make certain that you are subscribed to my blog and that your podcast and video streaming platforms are up to date because you will be seeing more of my face and hearing more of my gems.

Till next time.

XOXO,

Chamxpagne
